What will the future bring to my life?

Hello everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well.

This past week we had a meeting at the Board of Education and took a test to find out what our personal colors were. My colors were blue and yellow. Blue people follow their heart and not their head and are stressed by conflict. Yellow people have a clear direction of where they are going and are responsible, loyal, structured, orderly, and consistent who like routine and are stressed by chaos. I do believe that both of these colors better suit me out of the four. However, being blue and following my heart does sometimes cause for me to be hurt easier in situations. I think that being orderly really helps me keep up with things in life and not get behind.

At my mentorship and through other attorneys I know I have been questioned as to why I want to do the job because you are basically working all the time because you have to practically constantly be on call in case someone needs you for a case. When I think about it sometimes I do wonder. However, I know am pretty sure that this is the job I want. I love helping people as well as arguing with others and winning. Since I have been a child I have wanted to be a lawyer and my family and friends agree with that career choice for me. I strive for so much and I really want to accomplish my dream job.

In my mentorship I have learned so much new stuff as stated in my last blog and I continue to learn more each day.

Just this past week I went to the court house with my mentor on a last minute run on Friday and got a bond order signed to get a man released from jail for Easter weekend. Even though he is being trialed as a criminal you are innocent until proven guilty and it felt good to know that I was a part of getting that man released.

I really think that helping people in life will give me great satisfaction within my own personal life. Helping others and seeing their joy just makes my heart happy.

Even though I can not predict the future and only time can tell I really hope that i stick with my dream of being a lawyer and get into Harvard Law School.

I hope everyone else achieves their life goals and makes the best of what they have.
